This gif makes very evident one thing that I’ve noticed: Rossi and Garcia are the only ones NOT taunted individually by the Replicator. Is that relevant, I asked writers. Their response? hmmm….

• you can like/enjoy both of these characters without the universe imploding
• you can like one of these characters more than the other without shitting all over the one you like less
• you can like and dislike these characters without being awful about the actresses who play them
• you can miss prentiss and want to give blake some time to grow on you - and you can do it without being a douchebag
• you can stop parroting the sexism and misogyny you’ve been spoon fed about society and media about how you view women/female characters, and think before you speak
• you can actively contribute to making fandom less of a shitty place to be

AMEN.  Sometimes this fandom…ugh.  

Automatically hating on Alex Blake will not bring Prentiss back. I think there’s been enough water under the bridge for people to start realizing that Paget is gone. She does not want to come back. It was a great time while she was there, but she wanted out. She moved on, and blaming Jeanne Tripplehorn or Alex Blake not only is unfair, but also won’t change anything. So we might as well get over it and enjoy the show as is.
